Platform support#
Automexia v0.4.0 Public Alpha is available for Linux x64 and Arm64. Windows and macOS remain part of the longer-term platform plan.

The installation guide describes the current requirements. Listed shell families and platform designs are not blanket compatibility claims.
Linux#
Linux Early Access provides x64 and Arm64 DEB, RPM, and portable archive packages. Native build and package lifecycle checks cover Ubuntu 22.04 on both architectures. RPM lifecycle smoke checks used that runner, not a full Fedora test matrix. A GNU/Linux desktop and working graphics are required. Portable archives still need system libraries and are not intended for Alpine/musl.
Support for a package family does not automatically cover every distribution. Use only packages whose release notes explicitly include the system being used. AppImage may follow after separate native lifecycle and signature evidence; it is not an initial support claim.
Windows#
Windows support is planned after Linux. A future release must complete native PowerShell, Command Prompt, WSL, ConPTY, filesystem, package, update, removal, and accessibility testing before availability is announced.
Windows Subsystem for Linux#
The planned Windows application would host WSL shells. No Windows package is available yet, and this Linux Alpha does not claim WSLg compatibility.
Linux tools generally perform best when their projects live in the WSL filesystem. Native Windows tools generally perform best with Windows files.
macOS#
macOS support is planned after Linux. A future release must complete native terminal, window, graphics, package, update, removal, and accessibility testing before availability is announced.
Supported macOS versions and package details will be published with the first available release.
Other systems#
BSD and other Unix systems are not Early Access targets. Shared Unix behavior may work, but no official package or support commitment is currently made.
Current availability is maintained on Installation. Continue with Release trust and Early Access for release expectations.
